SSEAU Honours Scholarships

Up to 3 scholarships are available to UNSW honours students who require access to our ICP laboratory. The scholarships provide honours students with access to the ICP-MS, ICP-OES, FIA, and sample preparation facilities without an access fee. The scholarship does not cover the cost of instrument training ($50/hour) or consumables required during the project.

Supervisors should prepare a brief application covering:

• The project outline, indicating the research goals, and instrument(s) required
• Any sample preparation requirements within the Centre
• Likely training requirements for instrument operation or sample preparation
• Start/end dates and estimated weekly use of the instrument and/or number of samples for the project
• Name, student number and contact details of the student, if possible

The application should be sent to the Manager of the SSEAU.

The SSEAU will make scholarships to more labs available in 2009.
